First National Bank
Do you really live up to your slogan??

My bond application was approved in 2011 and i signed an offer to purchase Aug 2011 however the transfer only took place on 11 September 2012 (a year later) by that time i was in the debt review process due to additional costs after my divorce and was advised by debt councillor that my bond had to be included with other creditors and FNB was advised and there was a payment plan which i stuck to. Yesterday I received a termination letter threatning to evect and sell my house due to arrears, why was i not notified by FNB that they are not happy with the payment plan and only 5mnths later im told that im in arrears and told of FNb excersicing their right as I feel that I should have been made aware of this and could have made extra payments toward the difference to the amount that FNB is receiving from NPDA. Why dont you live up to your slogan " How can we help you ..." instead is how can we break you by increasing the number of homeless people. I never said i cannot afford my bond instalment but was advised to pay the amount that was agreed upon or presented to you by the debt councillor.
