My husband was called to be advised that he can get a cheque acc and a credit card with a limit of R38K, he submitted all his docs and the app was processed. For about 3 weeks he had to run up and down to collect his card as there were a different story all the time. He finally got his cheque card and was advised that his credit card was not yet processed and he to re-apply as that card could not be located. He completed the form again and there was no response until he went to the branch in Alberton yesterday and was advised the c/c is declined then why was he called and told about the R38K he qualifies for as he never requested for this he was called and offered. Now he is sitting with a cheque account he does not need as he has a savings for years and never had any issues. Why was he told about the limit offered to him if he did not qualify, is this just a advertising skim that you play with people to get them to take your account this is utterly disgusting to say the least. Cancel the cheque as he never needed this
