Hi i had a accident with my bakkie on the 15th of December 2012. It was taken to the Miway Yard for the claim to be approved. Claim was approved on the damage the assessor could see. Now that the panel shop is almost done with the repairs there are still problems on the bakkie. The prop shaft needs to be balanced and the panel shop send it for a report to Mr Prop shaft who write a report of stuff i did not complain aboutand that all the faults are because of wear and tear. i then took the bakkie to Spencer"s gearbox and diff in Alberton and he said that he can see on the left side of the front diff the pinion bearings are busy collapsing. The rest of the stuff Mr Prop shaft is Quoting for you can not see until you strip the vehicle, but he does not want to write a report because he did not see the vehicle when it was in the accident. He also ask me if the accident was on the left hand side of the bakkie and said yes and he replied he can see so. I then phoned Gert at MiWay who said we must send the vehicle to Mayfair Gearbox to strip the vehicle and check is the damage accident related or wear and tear. If it is accident related MiWay will pay but if it is wear and tear i must pay
