ACCIDENT CLAIM REPORT

During the month of September I was involved in a minor accident. I reported the accident to Miway for record purposes, not with the intention of claiming for the damages. Today (31/10/2013) I received the accident claim report that shows a lot of expenses which I do not understand. I contacted Gert van Wyk (Assessor) who was also unable to explain those costs. The only thing he said is that he is going to send his assessor to assess the vehicle. My question is "wasn't he suppose to send an assessor before concluding the accident claim report? " The one thing that makes me so cross is that I specifically told Khensani (from claims department) that my car was not damaged at all and no repairs were done on the car. The only thing which was slightly damaged was the number plate which does not even need to be replaced as it bent a little. I'm very disappointed with the service I received from Miway. I hope this matter will be addressed accordingly as this has a negative impact on the trust i had on Miway. BAD SERVICE :-(.
