INSURANCE RIP-OFF

I had a car accident (11/03/2013 @ 8am) in my 2012 Toyota. Aygo, I called the insurance received bad service (rude, did not arrange tow-truck and no claim reg. confirmation). I called again after 1hr of waiting for the tow-truck and had great help (tow-truck arranged/confirmed and confirmation of earlier claim received on cellphone). Received courtesy car at 2pm that day (use for 8 days not 15 days?).

Next day insurance says I can collect my car in 48hrs, if I don't have R9700 quoted because my insurance DOES NOT cover for repairs of my car!! (Quote does not include any repairs to engine, only bumper?)

I REALIZED I HAD BEEN SOLD AN INSURANCE THAT DOESN'T COVER FOR THE REPAIR OF MY CAR IN AN ACCIDENT!
WHY, WHEN I AM A FIRST TIME BUYER AND NEW DRIVER? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE NEEDS ANALYSIS THAT WAS DONE?

NOW! Panel beaters don't want to repair my car without the insurance being involved because it is a new vehicle OR because they want to charge higher rates to the insurance. My car is parked. Awaiting response from their Complaints Dep. for days now.
