Delaying tactics to increase interest!

I took out a loan for R5000 with RCS on the 26th of February 2013 and because I didn't want to pay additional interest I opted to pay the R650 initiation fee, which I paid via eft on the 26th of February 2013. On the 5th of March 2013, I called the call centre to request a settlement amount, which was close to R6000, now does it make sense, how a person who took a loan for R5000 for exactly 7 days can repay close to R6000, when I questioned the agent I was speaking to (Justin) he too realised that there must have been an error and logged a request for the Accounting department to look into it, I have called everyday to RCS and I get no joy from them, today was my last straw, I hope that this compliant will get a response from them.
