My husband and i had a combined balance of R130685.92 and we settled this yesterday. African Bank did not even give us a discount of 2% nevermind the 20% that my husband was promised via sms. The sms read: "You will qualify for a 20% discount on your loans if you settle before the end of the month". All i can say is that i am grateful that we are finally parting ways with African Bank after a 7 year relationship that clearly meant nothing to them. I repeat R130685.92 without a discount on settlement? Tjo!!!
