So I changed my banking details from which my First for Women car insurance supposed to debit from.
Nice & easy & sorted out. Then they decide to debit my March premium from my old bank account AS WELL AS my new bank account.
I call in, get it sorted & they told me it would take 7 working days to reflect. This is the amount for R538.80.
Sure enough the debit was deposited back into my account, but the wrong one - it's supposed to be debited back into the old account & not the new one - but okay fine, I can cope with that.
Another thing, the amount R536.80 was deposited & not the R538.80.
Yes, that's just a measly R2.00 difference (which I assume is my SASRIA premium, but I still feel it should've been put back) - in any case, it's just R2.00 - I can cope with that.
But then comes the annoying part. The very next day they decide to debit my (new) bank account with another amount of R107.00. So in total, I'm being robbed of R109.00.
It's just so funny how insurance companies can take your money in a split second & expect you to wait 7 working days if they it up. So what now? I'm going to have to call back & wait another 7 working days to get my money back?? Please explain??
