Capitec Bank
Returned Debit orde

I received a message from MTN that my debit order was refused on 06/03/2013 due to insufficient funds. When I checked my bank statement, it showed there was enough credit in the account for the debit order to be processed. When I contacted the call-centre I was informed that there was purchases made with my bank card on 23/02 which is on "hold" and not processed? How the can I make purchases if there is not money in my account. If you make a purchase, the amount is deducted from your bank immediately. At least that's what the sms says. I have always bragged about Capitec to my friends and family but for the past three months I have been rudely awakened by their poor services. I was not happy by the call-centre feedback, because somehow they do not see it as a problem! If some-one out there, who understands English, can please contact me so I can explain the problem or let me send you my statements. Your lack of common sense is giving me a bad name with my service providers.
