Never take out a policy with OLD MUTUAL

I have been trying to cancel my Flexi Policy with Old Mutual as it has not been needed since 2005, because the unit I bought has been long sold!
They will not cancel it without a letter from FNB Homeloans, whom says that my homeloan account they cannot access because it is dormant!!! Not surprising as the Flat was sold in 2004 if not earlier!!
Old Mutual is quick to take money but when it comes to paying out or cancelling it is a mission!! Shocking and daylight!!! Having other policies with them leaves me with a very bad taste and feeling!!!
