I took out medical aid insurance for my mom in March 2012 and has been paying via EFT monthly. I have never signed a debit order but agreed to pay electronically before the 1st which I have been doing. I called them on the 3rd December 2012 to enquire about which doctor's my mom could use as all the doctors I called advised me they do not accept this medical aid, she must pay cash and claim directly from medical aid. When enquirin I found out that my policy has been cancelled and no one advised me of this cancellation but they have been receiving my money monthly without any notification. Since the 3rd December until now i received nothing, not even a reply on my emails. I spoke to a Daniel Fourie this morning who advised me that the policy was cancelled to 3 debit orders being returned but once again I reminded him that I never agreed to pay via debit order but has been paying electronically. I was told that they did not receive my emails requesting but the email address is 100 % correct and I have been receiving a tracker on each email that it has been read but no reply. This is unacceptable and I would like a refund of my payment with interest for 9 months.
