I received a call from one of the DMC representative over debt I had with Standard Bank, they offered to give me a discount if I settled all my debt immediately. I was very co-operative and promised to settle all my debt in two months instead as I did not earn that much.
We then agreed to split my payments into 2 months. Where the biggest account would be handled at the end of March. There were supposed to take R3500 in Feb and around R5500 end of Mar. This was all confirmed on a call I made with them. They then went ahead and deducted an unauthorized figure out of my account, which caused my other debits to bounce, I am now as I have bills to pay. I cannot afford rent, food or transport.
I emailed all their agents but I have yet to receive a response. This was my most recent call: 15229551, their consultant had an entire conversation with a colleague while I waited on call.
