Waiting 15 days for Salary Cheque to clea

I couldn't be bothered with banks anymore, the reason I changed banks was my previous bank wouldn't clear my salary cheque. Capitec wouldn't accept my pay slip and my now ex boss has his bank contact them to try clear it and still it hasn't been cleared. Capitec just wants to earn interest on my cheque and have me a pregnant mother who is now jobless and moneyless suffer. Thanks Capitec
