I will be closing my Capitec account, as fromt the 12th of August, I have tried everyting to get Capitec to assist me urgently to clear a cheque. The standard bank cheque was deposted into my account and I urgently litterly asked everyone to assit me to get the cheque cleared, without any luck at all and little feedback. Apparently Capitec uses ABSA banks cheque clearance system, but ABSA says all their cheques are cleared withing 7 days, although Capitec wants me to wait 14 days. The money is not available, but yet, the banking charges were already collected from this cheque every time I do a balance enquiry at the ATM. ABSA bank and Standard Bank both said, that if I were a client of theirs, that they would have been able to clear the cheque sooner, it just makes me think, is saving a little bit of money each month to banking cost really worht the effort of being a o at Capitec bank. At litterly after this letter I WILL wait 2 days to get feedback, go and check all the Hello Peters, it is true, you as a customer wait 2 days for any urgent feedback, I will be closing my account and my husband and my children, and I will tell the world that I litterly begged for help!!
