In March 2010 i was involved in an accident. I gave the lady I was in an accident with all my details to contact me for damages etc. I heard nothing from either the lady who was driving or her insurance company. In 2012 2 years after the incident i received a call from Mutual & Federal advising me that I had to pay them R40 000 for the accident. This is 2 years after the accident having had no communication at all with Mutual & Federal. I did speak to them in 2012 and they advised me that this was due to a backlog they were experiencing etc. And that they would get back to me on my complaint on not being informed on the costs and implications etc.they never got back to me, instead on the 7 March i received summons from Afrores & Trinidad for R40506.76
The information on the summons about the collission is not true. I am beyond irritated with Mutual & Federal I dont think its my problem that they were experiencing a backlog or that someone did not keep me informed about the developments of the incident until 2 years later. and then not even communicate with me but take the matter to lawyers Claim number 69124477)
