I was involded in a car accident on the N1 North offramp at Atterbury on November 24th 2012 at -1:30 am driving from Jorbug. I claimed from Mutual & Federal as a Third party as I was not insured at the time. A constable Vester was at the accident scene who later decided not to be a witness. Mutual & federal has dismissed my claim verbally even refused to respond in writing despite my request. My contact has been Shahida Nicholas from Cape Town & her team leader Howard Bell. They have both dismissed my claim merely because I could not prove that their client was on the wrong. I got hold of Johan Pertese's statement which is so contradictory & flawed to the actual facts, I also now have constable Vester's statement. Mutual & Federal has dismally failed to do a proper analysis & assessment. Their assesor's statement should have also helped them see the real fact of the matter as Shahida has promised. I feel very much discriminated against being a single black woman & feel that Mutual & Federal is avoiding its responsibility to pay a LEGIT CLAIM & backing their client who is a blatant . with my experience Mutual & Federal cheated me & is not a recommended insurer!!
