Draging to pay out annuity

On 25 February I faxed all the documents to enable payout of this policy. Monday I phoned and spoke to Lizelle and was told that they have a problem with my ID number. She said that she will check with the department that are handling this matter. Today I phoned again and spoke to Shamil and was told they still have the same problem. I was also told that I must remember that I took out this policy in 1988 and that they hve a different ID number on file. What has that got to do with this matter as I faxed them a certified copy of my ID number. Today I was also told that he will follow up on this matter. I was also told that they currently have a problem with SARS. It is so funny that when these insurance companies have to pay money out all of a sudden they have problems with SARS. I was also told that it takes at least 15 days for any payout to happen.

Why does it take so long? If one copany can do it in 4 days.

Momentum paid out an annuity that was taken out in 1985 within 4 working days.

Can one of the insurance companies please lodge a complaint against SARS? I am sure all of the people waiting for whatever payout to be made will appreciate it.
