Abroad stuck with no access to my money

I lost my card, called and stopped the card. Next I asked how to get a replacement card I am out of the country in Chile. They said they would send the card to me however when I asked how would I set the new PIN on the card they reply with you need to visit your closest branch. Fine I ask can my father do this for me, they say that they can not confirm but my father needs to go into the branch as they deal with issuing new cards. Fine I get my father to do this for me, we are told I need a letter stating that he can collect it, it needs to be certified and a copy of my passport and ID both certified then i need to call "0860121131 and select option 5 this will allow you to activate the pin". I send those documents at a cost of around R1000 via DHL. While those documents are now in transit my father visits the branch again, this time they tell him that calling that number to set the pin will not work and there is no way to set the PIN other than the owner of the card being present. I have called the support desk numerous times no one can help me, I now need to spend in excess of R25000.00 buy a plane ticket but I cant even pay for that as I cant access my funds... really im stuck!!
