I APPLIED FOR A R10, 000 OVERDRAFT TO ATTEND MY MOTHER'S FUNERAL IN SOMERSET WEST. I AM FROM LYDENBURG AND URGENTLY NEEDED THE MONEY FOR PLANE TICKETS. ( I TOLD THEM THAT WITH MY APPLICATION) AFTER 29 HRS I STILL HAD NO RESULT AND VISITED THE BRANCH AGAIN. (I HAVE AN ABSA BOND OF R145 000, FOR LAND I PURCHASED. I THEN BUILT (CASH) 2 HOUSES ON IT!!!) I THEN CONTACTED THE CENTRAL OFFICE AT JOHANNESBURG TO SPEED IT UP. RESULT: DECLINED - "WANTS CUSTOMER'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AND PROOF OF INCOME"!!! ( I GAVE THEM MY PROOF OF INCOME!!!) FINANCIAL STATEMENTS TAKES WEEKS TO COMPLETE AND COST MAYBE MORE THAN THE MONEY I WANT TO BORROW!!! GEEEE ABSA - EMPLOY STAFF THAT IS COMPETENT PLEASE!!! I AM NOW WITH THE CEO'S OFFICE TO LODGE A COMPLAINT THERE AS WELL.
