Terrible Homeloan Rate

I have been a Standard Bank Prestige client for many years and have had terrible interest rate offerings on loan applications from Standard Bank. I have taken up previous loans from ABSA (Wife's Bank) and FNB (i dont even bank with them) that Standard Bank refused to match.

I now applied for a homeloan on a second property and standard bank gives me prime plus 0.8%. ABSA offered me prime minus 0.5%. What makes it worse, i didnt even receive my loan approval in writing, just an sms. When i called in to request letter i get someone elses approval by mistake. They application is for half the loan amount and they get granted prime - 1%.

This is terrible service. I will be closing my bank account and moving to another bank ASAP.

Sorry, Standard Bank you just lost a client that deposits a signifant salary into your account and would have had many loan products with you. I have had enough of this service. I will move to a bank that appreciates its clients. So much for Moving Forward.
