Transfer taken off twice!

My mother has banked with ASBA for almost her whole entire life and she has never had one bad word to say about them but as the years went on, we starting seeing younger and younger cashiers / tellers who upon going to them for enquiry, they cannot perform a transaction. Shocking really!

This time a old woman was behind a cashier, blind as a bat but working for ABSA?? My mother was doing her usual transactions / transfers and upon leaving the bank and checking her balance later on at home, she realised that the transcation has gone through twice. The teller had made a mistake and she asked my mom to put her card in again so she can do the transation again, after reassuring her it will not go off twice. She is now a thousand or 2 short and how will ABSA sort this out?
