Standard Banks YP private banking!

I have a Masters degree and was pursued by a Standard Bank private banking consultant to sign up for the young professionals package. He called and emailed me several times to join. After enquiring about the qualifying criteria I was accepted and reassured that I qualify. I went into the private banking suite and signed documentation to that effect. The next day I was emailed to say that I don't qualify. No apology! Completely humiliated and dissatisfied. A huge waste of my time. The consultant had no idea what the qualifying criteria were. I was mislead, and was told that nothing could be done despite the fact that I signed up for the package!

This is a violation of my consumer rights.
