ABSA Bank my car!!

I bank with ABSA Private bank (Sandton) and have been quite happy with their service to date. However in light of the past 7 months of sheer frustration I can understand why Steve banks with FNB and why they have won top honours in numerous local and international banking awards.
I decided to settle the outstanding bond on my vehicle in July 2012 (6 months prior to the official termination date). If only I had known what a disaster this would prove to be! Vehicle finance promised to have the registration papers delivered within 3 weeks. After 6 weeks I phoned again only to hear a perplexed clerk apologise and promise to have them delivered within another 3 weeks. They had been delivered to an unkown location, and now new ones had to be re-issued from the traffic department! November still saw no response and numerous e-mails were sent from Sandton to Vehicle finance in Auckland Park. December again I phoned, more empty promises. January 2013 I phoned again, still no resolution. More empty promises. So now I have paid R500 000 for a vehicle that still doesn't belong to me! The only option left is to go report a charge of or at the local police station. Scorpions please help!
