REVERSAL CANNOT BE DONE

I went to N1 city yesterday to reverse a pmt which i made earlier to my creditor in cash. got to the bank and was told that it can't be done & that is a "new banking law" implemented 2weeks ago. this is as this i my hard earned money and if communicated 2weeks ago i would not have made my cash payment. i was humiliated in the branch as i was told this extremley load in front of other clients that we are abusing the reversal process what freaking business is that of the bank anyway. yes you get those that do but not everybody should be brushed the same way. i am extremely off as i needed to make a payment to the UWC this morning and cant do this cause there is a new in charge of my account. i made a point of checking with all the banks this morning as i was told yesterday that all banks now refuse reversals and guess what they dont know what i'm talking about. i am contacting the ombudsman as i WILL NOT LEAVE THIS. i was embarrased and now have to stress about funds for UWC, nowhere in the branch is this advertised but we must just except. a cust serv rule there are always exceptions but not at Capitec we are ALL abusing our money.
