I put in a claim with sa homeloans insurance company in december 2012 for lightning damage. they then proceeded to send a servive provider to fix up and replace the damaged goods.once everything was done the service provider then told me i need to contact my alarm service provider to link the new alarm and electric fencing. i called my alarm service provider and they billed me R350-00 to link the alarm.i then called the call centre and the lady i spoke to said i should forward the invoice and they would re-emburse me. i have sent numerous e-mails andcalled in numerous times and still the money has not been paid back to me. so in total it cost me my monthly insurance premium R1500 excess (R500-00 per item replaced) R350 endless e-mails endless phonecalls to SA homeloans for them to refund me the R350-00.if i do not get the R350-00 back i will proceed to the ombudsman and take legal action as this is against the FAIS ACT!!!
all your billboards are false advertising as you guys are not helpful at all. i have given my 60 days notice of cancellation as i dont want to deal with a company that does not look after their clients. you guys have made my experience horrific...
