I received a claim no. 249 1765 roughly 3/4 weeks ago, after a lightning strike which damaged my alarm and electric fence. Since then I was told an assessor would come out, this has not happened yet?
After two weeks and 7 different numbers called everyday, from 8 am up until 5 pm, I never got through.

When I contacted another division of Absa insurance a Steven and Jeanette told me on seperate occasions to carry on with the work and have it fixed by anybody and would send me a mail so that I have proof of this, this has also not happened and Steven and Jeanette have now disappeared... They said the money will be reimbursed to me as they understand the urgency of the matter.

In the meantime they tried to break into my premises with no alarm, now they will not pay out because alarm was not activated... really? Do I follow the same process and wait another 4 weeks just for this claim?

I have been holding on for 2 hours now on this number, 010 211 5921, please do yourself a favour and try it, it's scary that a professional company operates like this.

I have now had my alarm fixed and fence by non accredited Absa contractors, but don't know where to send invoice?
