Good day
On the 14/02/2013 my house was burgled. I lodged a claim with std bank for damage to my property. They advised that they will send out an assessor to view the damage. My sliding door had to be replaced as it was damaged by the burglars. it was fitted by aluminum dimensions on the 19/02/2013 but in order to do this they had to break the plaster on the inside and outside to fit the sliding door. I paid an excess of R750. Since the burglary I had to wait for a week with an unsecured sliding door before it was fitted. NOW THE DOOR IS FITTED AFTER A WEEK .Still I feel unsafe because the edges of the door is exposed and can easily be broken into again. I phoned std bank on the 21/02/2013 at around 10:05 am . spoke to a gentleman named Ethan James who clearly sounded very uninterested when i explained my situation to him. We had to survive the trauma of the breakin at my home and had to endure further trauma at the hands of this std bank employee with his "don't care attitude " who said to me " surely Mrs Loonat, you can survive another night ". Clearly Std bank and Wellborn refurbishers (builders) dont give a
.My house might be flooded today. TOTALLY FED UP
