Liberty exposing customers to identity

I called Liberty to ask for an increase in my premiums for my RAF. I obviusly went through a security verification process and updated my residential address. I was sent an email to verify the conversation and was requested to send through some other documentation.
but wait... nobody asked me if I was happy with the 1 correspondence they would send- VIA POST
the next thing i know- i am getting a letter with the following information contained therein:
ID number
My Name and Surname
Residnetial address
Policy number
Bank account number
This is all one needs to open a clothing account/ furnityure store account in my name, have a fasle duplicate ID, etc
This letter was left at the gate of my security estate, but more so- they had sent me 2 duplicate copies. How necessary is it to list my banking details &ID number on postal letter? this is my business with my bank and the only reason they have access to this infomration is that I gave consent to them to deduct the premiums from there. I never consented to use of my VERY PRIVATE information in postal letters! its not necessary to have ALL this info just for verify an acco
