Settlement of account handed over for legal proces

I was offered an 80 % settlement on an account held with Standard Bank by their Attorneys MBD, and now Standard Bank will not issue me with the right letter to get the judgement rescinded at court, as they claim the account is not settled in full, even though their attorneys, MBD offered a settlement. Have a letter that confirms that the account was settled, however, Standard Bank still insists that I pay the 20 %, and that the account is not settled, which is contradictory to the settlement that STB issued to me already
