My complaint is based on the fact that AFTER I've paid my settlement amount which Absa has agreed to in writing, my name is still listed at/from their institution after one of their employees has confirmed that it will be removed. On 4 September 2012 they've sent me a settlement letter and 2 days later, 6 September 2012 I've paid the full settlement amount which they've offer/requested and received a letter stating that the amount was paid in full. I also explained to the personi've contacted, that I needed my name to be removed from ITC, EXperian, Transunion as well as XDS as soon as possible as I will be leaving the country soon, hense the settlement amount, she's confirmed that it will be done, but guess what, I'm still in South Africa as I was decline a working visa due to my name having a bad credit rating on these grounds. I've had no problems with absa up until this issue arised and doubt very much I will do any dealings with them in future unless this matter is sorted out with URGENCY!!!
