On Saturday 16 February 2012 I purchased a motorcycle and required insurance to take ownership of the vehicle so that i could leave the dealership. I contacted a gentleman, Julian, who was fantastic help getting the cover. After discovering the price was not affordable for me i told Julian i no longer wanted the policy. He advised that he would have to put me through to Customer Services to cancel the policy. I was met by a Senior customer service lady called Lee-anne Morgan who asked why i wanted to cancel. I told her that it was not affordable and that i no longer wanted it. She kept baggering me and baggering for my reasoning for not wanting it. She even suggested that i didnt want the cover due to Julian insulting me. She kept shouting on the phone and telling me that she is a senior member of staff etc. I put the phone down as i was distressed by all the shouting from her. As a potential or existing customer i have the right to want a product or service or to decline it. I am currently insured for my home with outsurance but have been shopping around for others and will cancel this week. Sick of bad service in our country. As clients we have rights too!
