Being a bit over eager and perhaps not doing enough research, I jumped the gun into getting a Life Policy with Outsurance. The brilliant product had me hooked. Once i spoke to the consultant, recieved the documents i realised that i had maybe got in a bit over my head. With an apology for wasting their valuable time, i called to cancel the policy only to be confronted with very bad attitude and blantant disrespect. I spoke with two senior advisors who told me I needed good reason to cancel, that i wasted 45 min of their time, that the advice i recieved to cancel was only because my advisor wanted to 'badmouth outsurance' and he was upset that he would not recieve the commission? The second consultant/senior advisor from outsurance gave me lengthy advice on not to cancel (which was his own decision), once he had finished his lecture, I had stuck by my decision, apologised for the inconvenience i had caused, and he abrubtly ened the call with 'ok bye' - Both advisors were rude and completely put me off. I was impressed with the product BUT VERY DISAPPOINTED in the service once the outcome did not benefit their company! collegues who were previously interested, are also in awe!
