I have a policy with AA number 556942710 for my Audi A4, 1.8. The car was damaged in the Gauteng hail last year on November 3rd with extensive damage done to the windscreen and noticeable damage to the body.
Once I logged my claim, the insurance company initially provided feedback by saying due to the high number of claims, they were unable to process my claim but advised that I would receive a booking soon. Whilst my windscreen was replaced in December, I never received any update or booking for the body. During this period, I made several calls to AA and spoke to Mfundo among other people. The last of these calls were on Feb 18th at 1.16pm. I spoke to Maela who like everyone before simply assured my that someone will call me 'later'.
To add insult to injury, I received a letter indicating that my premiums were going up by 12%, this despite the vehicle only being insured for current market value.
the first quarter of 2013 only has several weeks left and my car is still not repaired.
