My vehicle got dented whilst parked on April 2012, but I got all the details of the party (Company) responsible for the damage & completed all the requirements required from me, with police accident documents etc. I placed my claim in with Budget insurance, they said my vehicle would be fixed & they'd claim back the damage amount from the company responsible (Western Tyre). Budget was unable to retrieve the money from the external party responsible. Instead Budget Insurance insisted that I fix my own vehicle with my own money whilst I'm insured by them whilst they meant to do it. The damage amount at the time of incident was R5000.00 & within the ratio of the insurance company to fix it, my access was just over R3000.00 at the time. Budget then, increased my access to almost double months after, then justified their incompetence saying my vehicle damage was less than my access. Then later, they tell me I lodged 2 claims! when it was only this small claim. After realising their mistake, they promised to fix it and email me the details of this entire incident.
