Hail damage 8/11/12.Rec a few quotes before putting in claim to see if worth claiming. all well in excess of R11000, so I put in claim & on 28/11/12 reported to OS assessor. There quote was R 4435.40. on pointing out to Mr Potgieter that it was imposible to repair at that amt, as all the PB's agreed that the bonnet needed to be replaced (veh under W) he said the assessor would contact me.(28/11/12) After no contact for a couple of days I got hold of Tears, who at 1st was very helpfull. She suggested that I go to the PB that would do the repairsto get them to assess. Did this on 11/12/12.The quote was R16892.59.This was sent to Tears on 12/12/12.Who advised that this would be sent to OS assessor. I queried no reply on the 14/12/12, to which Tears adv that they were awaiting the assessor. Quedied again 3/1/12, & now get no reply. This has cost me at least 20 Ph calls, trip to PB, Toll fees etc, now 3 months & still no way forward? lean over backward, my foot! I was also advised that the rerairs MUST be done within 6 months??? Now who is to blame for the hold up?
