Not finalising a claim

On the 23/06/2013 I was in PE, and my car was hi-jacked found crashed. I then went back to Johannesburg where my insurance details are, and lodged a claim on the 25th. Since then I have been going up and down helping to speed up the claim. giving them the information they needed some even asked more than once.

Just the car to be removed from the police custody took them more than 3 weeks before it was assessed.

I have been waiting for the outcome, and since I reported the matter to the Ombudsman their attitude became worse. On the 24 October the Ombudsman told me that they have not received feedback as well after the due date they gave them. My broker Nedbank who is also my employer tried to intervene, and were told to step out.

I am paraplegic, and with limited options when it comes to transport. I hope this will start sending a message for them to conclude my claim. I am still paying them premium every month. It feels like they are hoping I will just disappear, so that they do not pay.
