I called and enquired what the total outstanding balance is for my African Bank account. The account had been handed over however I was given a settlement amount where by i had to beg for a settlement letter. Once the money was paid I was told to request for an ITC update. When doing so, Palesa Matladi Ref: 8759337 informed me that it gets done monthly at the last day of every month 31.01.2013. The 1st of Feb 13 I called and was told by Gareth Grant that the customer has to call and request an update, its not done automatically. Gareth sent an update with Call Ref:8809291 and it would be done in 7 working days which was 12.02.2013. The 13th Feb I called and was told by Bonolo Modise that it hasnt been done and her Team Leader Nomaswazi Mabusa said she escalated it and informed me I should receive feedback within 24hrs via sms notifying me it was done (5pm 14.02.2013). I have since not received any feedback via sms as I was told nor has any representative of African Bank took the time to call me and keep me upto date despite numerous requests for them to do so. The service received from the staff at African Bank H/O is really pathetic and unprofessional. PLEASE ASSIST URGENTLY!!!
