Standard Bank put me in financial difficulty

I have been a client with the bank for many years. At one stage I was even an employee. I had an overdraft of R6000. I lost my job 2 years ago. Monthly I was paid out by UIF. Despite cancelling some of my debit orders (some as little as R65) Stad Bank still deducted the debit orders. With no money in the bank most of my debit orders were returned (R115 penalty fee) from having R6000 O/D my account is now in arrears with R12000. Every month Std bank penalised me R115 everytime I had no money for he debit orders to go through. I tried to cancel this online as well as calling the customer care number given to me when i signed up for thepolicies etc.

I received an email from LgalNexus stating that they will attach my goods should I not settle the R12000 by the end of the month. Sure... let me go find 12k buried somewhere. My credit record is beyond bad as a result of this. I am just a small fish in thepond and wonder how many others have this problem. Standard Bank is lost my confidence.
