Absa Insurance confusion

My geyser started flooding on 10/02/2013.I called 0860 100 876 and was given 2 reference numbers (Foggi 866519 and Call centre 8QWNBN). A plumber came out, stated that the geyser will be reported.
On 11/02/2013, approx. 10:00, I received a call from Durathem stating that the geyser is burst and will be repaired under warranty
In order to determine this or confirm if it will be a claim, I call Absa Claims.
At 11:50, I call 0860100876, Faith stated that she can't pick up my policy.
I called at 11:55, Hector stated that I have 5 bonds. He is totally confused and stated that I should call underwriting.
At 12:12, I call 0861722272, Lauren confirms policy 6525654762. She transfers me back to claims registrations.
At 12:14, Boitumelo at Claims says that there's no policy and that I should speak to Underwriting. She transfers me back to Underwriting.
At 12:20, Tshidi confirms the policy is active, transfers me back to Claims Registrations.
At 12:25, I get through again to Boitumelo. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She puts me back to the call centre queue.
Is this a claim that must be registered, or is it being replaced under warranty?
Why don't the Claims pick up my policy?
