Yet another OUTsurance incident. One of many! OUTsurance will not cover a mobile phone from a house because: "The mobile phone was not specified as being inside the house" The most recent incident happened when I lost my engagement ring in a public bathroom. According to OUTsurance I should have specified that the jewellery would leave the house. I mean, we all buy jewellery especially engagement rings to remain on cabinets and display cases within our homes. When I initially applied for insurance with OUTsurance, I specifically asked if I need to specify ANYTHING and was informed that it is not needed. Additionally, Out and About insurance was not discussed with me pertaining to false and misleading insurance cover.
again,
Nadia
