Money was taken from my account without my consent or a purchase having been made - R900. I was told by Standard Bank that this is not as a month ago I gave the same company my bank details when I did order something. So I can get my funds back but it can't be prevented from happening again and they can't stop the (I never received my first product that I did buy) as I gave this company that I bought from (Purasilk/Bellagenix) my bank details for an old order a month ago. I never made a second purchase or authorised for R900 to be deducted - how is this not? Not to mention the first order was never delivered? My car finance company don't take unauthorised funds from my account, neither does my medical aid or life policies, not to mention the pizza delivery company! They all have my bank details and yes I gave it to them. The bank can't flag this so it won't happen to me or anyone else again. They say if the company keeps taking money (for the rest of my life), I must keep calling to stop it (costs me money each time). But in the meantime, unless I close my account, they can't prevent ir ftom happening to me again or others It took 9 calls and 90mins
