Since I took out a policy with affinity in September of 2012 after purchasing a new car, I have been a loyal client and paid them each month diligently. Then in December i switched bank accounts. I have continuously let affinity know over the period of two/three months that they had the incorrect bank account number linked to my insurance portfolio and they should contact me to get the correct bank account number for deductions to take place. This never happened. I have put the money away to be able to pay them once the account number had been fixed but again nothing happened. Now this morning I receive an SMS that my insurance policy with them has been cancelled due to non payment, as if its my fault that they didn't get their money. Needless to say I will be spending the money I saved on a well deserved holiday and Affinity will never hear from me again. I would rather pay a bit more and get decent service than to have these hassles again. Absolutely poor service, one would think that a company would be anxious to help and get their payments rather than cancel a policy just like that.
