Three weeks and claim not even authorised

First for women have had my vehicle for three weeks now and have still not finished with their claim validation process. The accident was simple I slid on a wet road and bumped a tree causing minor damage. For three weeksnow I have been told stories about waiting for the assessor and then that the assessor has signed off but now I have to wait for the senior consultant to sign off. In the 30 plus years that I have been paying insurance I have never had such poor service regarding a simple straightforward claim. They cannot explain to me why it is that they have had my vehicle for three weeks but they have not even sent it to the panelbeater yet. They also show absolutely no concern cor the fact that I am struggling without this vehicle due to their incompetence
