Not honouring agreement

On the 16 October 2021 Lyndon gave me a quotation of R6000 to relocate 2 palms. He requested a
50% (R3000) deposit upfront, to which I replied that payment will be made once they are on site.
Work commenced on Monday 18 October2021. He and his 4 employees dug o hole around the 1st palm
which took about 4 hours. He did not pitch the following day as he had to attend to an emergency burst
pipe.
After calls and messaging, Lyndon returned on the 20 October 2021 and dug a hole around the 2nd palm for 2hours and left, promising the palms will be relocated in that week. I have not seen him again
The following excuses were cited when I did manage to contact him:
1. Not available on the 21 October because its 55 birthday,
2. Crane guys are busy in the harbour,
3. On the 2 November, he said he is out of town due to death in the family and will only fly in next day,
4. On the 5 November, he said it will be removed in that week and will keep me updated,
5. His last message was that he is waiting on a house to be demolished where another palm was to be
removed. Only then will he be able to do mine.
Its been 3 months (5 Nov - 5 Feb) no calls, no msgs, no response from him.

He did not honour his agreement, I offered him a solution, to refund me a portion of my payment.
No response, be careful doing business with Lyndon Collins. Ask for references and insist on full payment when the job is done.
