I put in a claim about three weeks ago, and got a SMS with the reference number. Then waited about a weak for the responsible person to come back. When I phone them regarding the claim, an assistant pics up, says that there is no one available takes the message, and says that someone will get back to me. Other times they just don't answer the phone. When you get hold of them, you speak to the assistant again, and when you ask about the previous message, she/he replies that they will get back to me in 48 hours.
Would not recommend anyone to take out home owners insurance with ABSA, and if you did change it as soon as possible
