Standardbank is advertising a Bonus Plus investment option on their website. When I went into the branch at Keywest, Krugersdorp, I was told that they are not offering it. I asked the consultant to have a look at the ad, which he did and still said it was not being offered. He could not give me an explanation of why they're advertising a service they are not offering. At his advise I filled in a complaint at the branch and requested to be contacted. After hearing nothing from them after a week, I filled in an online complaint on their website. Again I have not heard anything from Standardbank two weeks later. As I write this, the advert is still on their website!!
My advise, take Standardbank online adverts with a mug full of SALT!
