After demutualisation in 1998, i filled in the blue form and posted to Sanlam to claim my share's. I later called Sanlam and made sure all was in order. Now all these years later i sent an email to find out about my shares and could they please locate them as no correspondence was ever sent to me, and i get a letter telling me about people who didn't take them up on the demutualisation offer. Well Sanlam i wasn't one of those people, i did, and now you have no record??? very convenient. Thank's Marlene for thinking you can fob me off with a standard letter. Why are so many people getting so conned in S A these days???
