I changed my debit order date to the 25th two months ago.
when I requested this change, my debit order increased for some stupid reason.
A month was skipped without running my debit order and I was informed that the problem is with Standard bank vehicle finance as i did the change of debit order. That also doesnt make sense. I was then charged with an extra R57 for interest of the month that I wasnt debited on. That interest wasnt debited from my account also. I kept on receiving about 20 automated messages calls informing me that my account is in areas. I even received countless sms's and emails informing me of the same thing. I took it up to call STD bank to get the reason behind this. I spoke to Funanani Muthanyi (Account Management consultant) and she couldnt give me the correct account details to deposit the outstanding money. she eventually told me not to worry about this and that money will come off with my next debit order. Well it didnt come off and now I had been receiveing countless calls about owing R57 which is absolutelty ridiculuous? why are we experiencing such incompetence from the Standard bank call centre? I am really annoiyed and dissaponted by this. bad service
