Applied for a credit card last year and they gave me a huge limit, which I asked to be decreased as I thought I did not need it at that time. I of course changed my mind and did the online credit limit increase, and was only granted R 2500.00 more than my current limit. That is still way lower than what they originally offered. Why can't I now get what they originally offered me?
I called the call centre countless times only to be put on hold or to be told it's my credit rating. I only changed to FNB a few months ago, my financial situation did not change so I do not accept that answer.
Was told someone will get back to me to assist me in increasing it to my desired amount (which will still be less than their original offer.) I have been waiting for weeks now.
Up to now I have only received excellent service from FNB, but this is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. You can't tell me I can have something and then revoke your statement when I want to take you up on it.
Please get back to me with a solid explanation or assist me in increasing my limit that was granted to me.
