During the peak Christmas period i was in the bank to place notice on a stokvel account we run, the bank was full and it was busy, the enquiries section had only one teller as the other was on break, mr kumaren who usually assists on the floor with queries, was called to assist the SBV guys. everybody in the queues were irate as everything ran so slow. mr Daya came on the floor and i watched him start from one side and assisted clients to the best, he delegated to staff in a good manner, he redirected patrons to the correct sector and he came to the enquiries queue and assisted as much as he could, taking customers to his office and printing statements etc. the branch seemed short staffed but this did not hinder mr Daya's coomitment to make things happen, So Well done Mr Daya by leading by example, you seem to be a true manager who has the right managerial competencies to lead your team. Well done to Mr Kumaren who is always going that extra mile and to Ms Ray who seems like our personal banker, Sizwe at the tellers has a great attitude and Ms Barbara who is always willing to assist to make sure your query is sorted before you leave.
